It has taken 7 years to make Vet Your Decisions a reality. From an interest in how veterinary professionals and owners make decisions about patient care, through a Masters degree and years of studying, we're finally at the point of being able to share that learning with others.
Mary has worked in general practice, and referral practices across the UK. She has further qualifications in veterinary dermatology, a PhD in canine atopic dermatitis, and a Masters by Research in clinical veterinary research, focussing on clinical decision making.
She is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Royal Society of Biology and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and has published widely on veterinary education, clinical research, dermatology and decision making.
Vet Your Decisions is here to help both owners and veterinary professionals feel empowered to make the right decisions.
The purpose of Vet Your Decisions is to learn from owners and veterinary professionals, to create resources that support everyone to make better decisions, and ultimately to improve animal welfare.
